Nasty Women at the March for Impeachment
Multiple marches and rallies were scheduled in Portland to mark the one-year anniversary of the Women's March and the current administration's inauguration.
While we encouraged our members to show their support at any of the marches, we set up a meeting place and time for Nasties wanting to march together at Portland's Impeachment March, which took place on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Thousands of concerned citizens showed up, in force, with signs showing their displeasure at the current administration. The event kicked off with speakers at Terry Schrunk Plaza and then we marched, weaving our way through downtown Portland, cheered by onlookers.
While the skies were cloudy, the rain held off and our spirits were high as we carried our banner proudly, chanting: "Four, Three, Two, One! Nasty Women Get Shit Done!"
It was a great day to make our voices heard, joining hundreds of thousands of others who took part in related marches across the nation.
