Party with a Purpose

Last weekend, I co-hosted a party with a friend at my house. I made a delicious sangria with my favorite local beverage, I caught up with friends I hadn’t seen in a few months, and I met some great new people. The student-led protest, conceived of by high school-aged survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL, included more than 450 sister marches throughout the U.S. (and more globally). We didn’t march alone. We marc
